One of the well-established traditions in the Centre is the Wednesday Discussion, which is conducted on the Wednesday of each week for almost one and half hours. Nearly half of the time is devoted to presenting a topic and the other half is left for comments and discussion. The discussion is sometimes confined to the researchers of the Centre. However, some times faculty from the College of Economics and Administration or other departments of the university such as the Islamic Studies department and the Sociology department are invited.

        One of the advantages of this dialogue is the weekly gathering of researchers and academicians to discuss some theoretical ideas of research interest dealing with specific subjects on Islamic Economics and the Jurisprudence of Financial Transactions.
